Soak the chana dal for 8-9 hours.

Drain the water from chana dal and transfer to mixer grinder.Add the green chilli, ginger and garlic and crush it into medium consistency.Now add the other ingredients and mix it well till the batter gets fluffy.

Steam it like the dhokla for 20-25 mins till it is cooked.Now remove it and cool it down for 1-2 hours.

Once cooled crush it and sieve through the siever into powder form.

Mix all the ingredients of chutney and grind in mixer with little water.

Now take big kadhai and add oil.Now add rai,hing, green chilli, water and sugar.

Now add the crushed khaman and mix it well for 5 minutes.

Now take it in the serving bowl and add all the ingredients for garnishing.Serve hot.
