Ingredients

  • 1Brocc r freeoli, cut into small florets with little stalk attached
  • 3 cupsWater
  • 2 tspSalt
  • 2 Tbspolive Oil, for shallow frying
  • Marination
  • 1 cupHung Curd
  • 2 TbspGinger Garlic Paste
  • 2 tspCumin Powder
  • 2 tspRed Chilli Powder
  • 2 TbspBesan (gram flour)
  • 1 TbspMixed dried Herbs
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 TbspOlive Oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the broccoli florets
    Boil water in a deep pan with salt for 5 minutes, once it comes to a boil, add the broccoli florets.
    Blanch them for 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain

  2. 2

    Prepare the marination using the ingredients under "Marination". Mix olive oil in the last.

  3. 3

    Add broccoli florets and let it be in marination for overnight of maximum 3 hours.

  4. 4

    Insert toothpicks in each broccoli floret or if you have kept little long stalks then can shallow fry them in a pan like this only. One can cook them in tandoor too.

  5. 5

    Enjoy broccoli lollipop as starters with schezwan sauce or any chutney of your choice
