Add 2 cups milk to the kadai and then add 1 cup sugar

Let the sugar dissolve completely and let it boil

Once it boils, add saffron and allow it to thicken in a low flame

Milk will get condensed and thick malai will be formed, slowly the move the malai to the sides without disturbing the layer

Once it is condensed, allow it to cool and on the other side add the ghee to a pan

Remove the sides of the bread and cut them into triangles, fry them in the ghee till golden brown

Keep aside and chop the almonds also

Once the milk comes to room temperature, place the bread slices on a plate and pour the milk over it and top it with the malai

Garnish with almonds and saffron and refrigerate and serve chilled
