Ingredients

  1. 14-15Colocassia (arbi) boiled and peeled
  2. 1 TbspGinger and green chilli paste
  3. as neededFresh coriander sprigs
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1 tspCumin powder
  6. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  7. 1 tspGaram masala powder
  8. 1 tspChaat masala
  9. 1/2 tspCarom seeds (ajwain)
  10. 3-4 tsprice flour
  11. 2-3 TbspBread crumbs
  12. as neededOil for shallow frying
  13. as neededGreen chutney to serve

Cooking Instructions

    Boil colocasia in a pressure cooker
    Peel and Mash when it’s cooled down.

    Add ginger- green chillies paate, coriander sprigs, salt, cumin powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala, carom seeds and rice flour and mix well.

    Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into tikkis.

  4. 4

    Coat them with bread crumbs and keep in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.

  5. 5

    Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Place tikkis on it and shallow-fry till golden brown from both the sides.

    Serve hot with green chutney
