Soak 1 cup of rice in water after washing it throughly

Heat a pressure cooker add oil or ghee and let it heat

Add cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes

Add chopped vegetables and cook them till they turn translucent

Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and biryani masala and cook it thoroughly

Then add soaked rice after washing off excess water

Add 2 cups of water

And finally add salt to taste

Cover pressure cooker and wait for 2 whistles which takes around 10 minutes on medium heat

Pulao is ready serve it hot with butter and chutney
