Soak sooji in milk for at least 2 hours.

Fry dry fruits in ghee it's optional.

Make powder of Cardamom.

Take ghee add sugar and let it melt.

Cook till it turns golden.

Add soaked suji now and roast till golden and ghee oozes out.

Add dry fruits and cook well on low flame.

Keep on stirring continuously you can add dry coconut also it enhances the taste I didn't had hence didn't used.

Your makhandi halwa is ready,have this halwa in winter.
