Ingredients

  1. 3 1/3 cupsglutinous rice (about 500 grams)
  2. 1 cupcoconut milk (250 ml)
  3. 4-5 tablespoonsgranulated sugar
  4. 1 teaspoonsalt
  5. leavespandan
  6. ripe mango

Cooking Instructions

    Rinse the glutinous rice thoroughly and soak it in water overnight or for 4-5 hours. Then steam for 25 minutes.

    In a pot, combine coconut milk, sugar, salt, and pandan leaves. Heat until hot but do not let the coconut milk separate.

    While both the rice and coconut milk are hot, pour the coconut milk over the rice and mix well. Let it sit for 25 minutes.

    After 25 minutes, uncover and stir, then cover again and let sit for another 10 minutes. Serve with ripe mango.
