Soya and matar pulav

Wash thoroughly and soak rice. Wash 2-3 times and soak soya chunks

Now heat oil A deep vessel put cumin seeds, bayleaf, clove, black pepper and cinnamon and saute.. than add sliced onions and cook well on low flame. Keep stirring until nice dark bown in colour.

Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam msala powder and mix well on low flame. This will give desired natural brown colour to white rice.

Now drain the excess water from soya chunks by squeezing hard and wash the green peas. Add both to the onions. And stir on high flame for 2-3 minutes.

Now add 2-3 glasses of water and let it come to boil. Than add the soaked rice and salt as per taste. Let it cook for min 6-7 minutes,untill the water is absorbed completely by rice.

Now check seasoning adjust as required and low down the flame and let it simmer with covered lid for 4-5 minutes.

Finally garnish with fresh coriander and cooked soya chunks. serve hot.
