Karachi Halwa

#PAKISTANKAMEETHA
Karachi Halwa, a specialty hailing from the lovely city that I proudly call mine, is not just a "meetha" but a representation. The jiggle of the colourful gelatinous sweet, and the silken texture of the ghee when you bite into it; is a metaphor for the way Pakistanis are built - flexible enough to adapt and overcome any problems, and kind enough to always step up for their fellow citizens in the times of need.
The fan following of this dessert is found abroad too; where the name represents our beloved country Pakistan, and makes us proud among various international desserts.
I am honored to be able to proudly present this PAKISTAN KA MEETHA, Karachi Halwa, to the global Cookpad community, and hope that this exchange of desserts strengthens our friendship and gives us the opportunity to explore one another's cuisines and cultures.
