My deep love for tiramisu inspired this very simple variation that's also kid-friendly, made with mascarpone cream, strawberries, and milk.

My deep love for tiramisu inspired this very simple variation that's also kid-friendly, made with mascarpone cream, strawberries, and milk.
Cooking Instructions

Separate the egg yolks from the whites and beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.

In another bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the egg yolks with the sugar.

Gradually add the mascarpone to the yolk mixture.

After mashing the mascarpone with a fork, beat it for a few seconds with the mixer.

Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the mascarpone mixture using a spatula, mixing from the bottom up.

In another bowl, pour in half of the cream mixture. Add chopped strawberries.

In a baking dish, spread a few spoonfuls of the plain cream (without strawberries).

Quickly dip the Pavesini cookies in milk and arrange them side by side in the dish.

Cover with the strawberry cream and repeat the process for a second layer.

For the final layer, add more Pavesini cookies and then top with the plain cream.

Decorate as you like. I chose strawberries and ground pistachios.
