Cooking Instructions
- 1
Dissolve the coffee in the hot water and set aside to cool. Add in 110ml of baileys in the coffee (cooled). Dip in the fingers (not until soggy) and place in a container side by side(until a layer of biscuits are formed).
- 2
Separate the white and yolk from the egg, whisk only the yolk with the sugar until pale yellow. Add in mascarpone cheese and also the remaining 40ml baileys to the pale yellow mixture. Beat the mixture until smooth.
- 3
As for the egg white, whisk until thick and foamy and add into the mascarpone mixture.
- 4
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture on top of the layer of biscuits (we had ready earlier). Again, dip the fingers and place side by side on top of the layer of mixture. Lastly, top with all the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- 5
Sieve the cocoa powder on top of the tiramisu. Cover the container and place it in the fridge 8-12 hours and serve!

Classic Tiramisu Classic Tiramisu
Store bought just doesn't make the cut. I had to make my own. It is easy but time consuming, the best things are worth the wait. This really does need to chill for 24 hours. If you can't wait it must be at least 12. Cooking the eggs over a double boiler takes a full 10 minutes but is vital. All steps truly make a masterpiece when finished. Taylor Topp Comacho -

Tiramisu seems difficult to make, but it's actually quite easy. You can easily make an exquisite tiramisu! If you mix the egg yolks into the cream cheese a little at a time, it won't separate. Adjust the bitterness of the coffee to the preference of your eaters. For 18 cm [7.1 in] cake mould. Recipe by Maiko cookpad.japan -
Tiramisu Tiramisu
This recipes is the result of a lot of trial and error. I've been making this for the past 10 years. This time, I made it for my hubby's 40th birthday. The strawberry compote is just a mix of strawberries and sugar simmered together. You could also make this the traditional way and sprinkle cocoa powder on top. I topped it with strawberry compote based on my hubby's request. Coating the biscuits with a generous amount of butter will make it crunchy. Recipe by Mon*chou-chou* cookpad.japan -
