How to turn a simple focaccia into something beautiful as well as delicious. Decorating this focaccia was relaxing, easy, and fun. I just had to choose what to add, then let my creativity flow.

To make the dough, add the water, milk, sugar, salt, sourdough starter, and olive oil to a stand mixer. Start mixing and gradually add all the flour.

The dough will be quite sticky.

Cover and let rise with a kitchen towel for about 6-7 hours.

Line a small baking pan with parchment paper and brush it with oil.

Spread the dough in the pan. To make it easier, oil your hands.

Let rise in the oven with the light on for about 1 hour.

Meanwhile, wash and cut the toppings you want to use.

Arrange them on the focaccia as you like.

Lightly sprinkle with salt at the end.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 35-40 minutes.
