Steps
- 1
Mix dry ingredients (of pizza base)
- 2
Add 2 tbls olive oil
- 3
Gradually add warm water until dough is formed
- 4
Knead the dough (either in a kneading machine or by hand) until soft and pliable. Grease dough with remainder olive oil, cover dough and set aside
- 5
Let dough rise until it doubles in size
- 6
Divide dough into 4 balls and roll out to make thin bases (if you like thin pizzas, or make the base as thick as you would like)
- 7
I usually pre-cook bases before adding toppings. Once bases are cooked, you can either use immediately or store in the freezer for later use (this saves loads of time)😊
