  • Red Snapper-2 fillets
  • Onion-Finely Chopped
  • 5 clovesGarlic-4 to
  • teaspoonTomato Puree-3
  • Ground Pepper-To taste
  • Salt-To taste
  • For Fish Marination:
  • Lemon zest
  • to tasteSalt
  • Lemon Juice
  • For olive oil aoli:
  • Egg yolk-1
  • tablespoonDijon Mustard-1
  • tablespoonVinegar-1
  • to tasteSalt
  • Pepper
  • Extra virgin Olive oil
  • Onion-Finely Chopped
  • 5 clovesGarlic-4 to
  • teaspoonTomato Puree-3
  • Ground Pepper-To taste
  • Salt-To taste
  • For Fish Marination:
  • Lemon zest
  • to tasteSalt
  • Lemon Juice
  • For olive oil aoli:
  • Egg yolk-1
  • tablespoonDijon Mustard-1
  • tablespoonVinegar-1
  • to tasteSalt
  • Pepper
  • Extra virgin Olive oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate the fish with lemon zest,salt and lime juice for 30 mins

  2. 2

    Shallow fry the fish till golden brown(don't overcook)

  3. 3

    In a pan put some olive oil,onion,garlic and fry till the onion is translucent or baby pink

  4. 4

    Put tomato puree,salt and pepper into it

  5. 5

    In a medium bowl put the yolk,dijon mustard,vinegar,salt and pepper and slowly put the olive oil and keep whisping till the aoli is creamy

  6. 6

    Serve hot with a bit of aoli on plate and present the fish gently over the onion sauce
