  1. 2 cupsmoong daal(split & skinned green gram)
  2. 2 tspchopped green chilies
  3. Handfulchopped coriander leaves
  4. 1 tspCumin seeds
  5. 1 pinchasafoedita
  6. As per taste Salt
  7. As required Water for soaking
  8. As required Oil for frying
  9. 1medium onion roughly chopped (optional)
  10. 1 inchGinger

Cooking Instructions

    Washed the daal and soaked till 5-6 hrs.

    After 5-6 hrs strain the dal. Take a grinder jar put dal and ginger grind it and make a fine paste.

    Immediate transfer to a large bowl add cumin seeds, salt, chopped onions, coriander leaves, asafoedita and green chilies. Mix it with soft hands

    Heat oil in a deep kadhai check the oil temperature it should be neither too hot nor Lukewarm, take a small portion of mixture and drop bite size ball to the hot oil.

    Fry them stirring on medium to high heat until golden and crispy on both sides.

    Drain it on the kitchen towl. Serve hot with green chutney, ketchup with tea or coffee. Taste is yummy
