Ingredients

30 min
  • 1/2 cupspilt white gram
  • 1/2 cupChana dal
  • 1medium onion chopped
  • 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  • 3tomato mashed
  • 3green chilli minced
  • To tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 2 tspFinely chopped coriander leaves
  • 4 tspoil for tadka
  • 1 tbspdesi ghee

Steps

    Firstly, wash your dal, properly,take a pressure cooker place dal in the cooker, add 2 cup water, Salt and turmeric powder. Cover with lid. In the medium flame for 4 whistles and daal cooked well.

    Now, take a pan add oil heat, add ginger garlic paste, saute it, add onion saute for 5 min. Then it's looks brown add tomato add salt, green chilli, and all ingredients. It's make good mixture. All masala place in the pressure cooker, add 1 tbsp desi ghee,garam masala and chopped coriander leaves. Cover the pressure cooker with the lid,cook dal simmer for 10 min.

    Ready your langar wali Dal. Serve it with rice and chapatis.
