Prepare all ingredients and the sauce.

Trim the tough ends off the asparagus and wash thoroughly. Wash the scallions and slice them thinly.

Mix the sauce ingredients together. In a separate bowl, combine the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water and set aside.

Wrap the pork slices evenly around the asparagus.

Set aside the prepared asparagus pork rolls.

Heat a nonstick skillet with a little vegetable oil. Place the asparagus pork rolls in the pan and cook until the pork is halfway done.

Pour the prepared sauce into the pan, cover, and cook the rolls in the sauce for 5 minutes.

Once the pork is fully cooked, remove the rolls and place them on a serving plate.

Bring the sauce in the pan to a simmer over medium-low heat. Add the sliced scallions and stir-fry briefly.

Add the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce, then turn off the heat.

Pour the sauce over the asparagus pork rolls.
