Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan at low flame until it melts.

If you’re using buns cut them in half and put them in the melted butter. Cook on both sides until you get a light brown texture.

Take 1/2 cup butter in a small bowl and add the sugar in it. Salted butter is better in my opinion since you get a characteristic sweet and salty taste. You can also use unsalted butter. Whisk it until the butter turns white.

Take the sweetened butter and use it as a spread in your breads and enjoy it with a cup of chai.
