Ingredients

3-4 people
  1. 1medium sized tender coconut
  2. 20-25cleaned, deveined prawns
  3. 1 tablespoonturmeric powder
  4. As per tasteSalt
  5. As requiredTender coconut pulp paste
  6. As requiredTender coconut water
  7. 1medium onion finely chopped
  8. 1 tablespoonginger paste
  9. 1 tablespoongarlic paste
  10. 2-3green chillies chopped
  11. 2-3 tablespoonsmustard paste
  12. 1 teaspoonsugar
  13. 2 tablespoonsfresh cream
  14. As requiredAtta dough to seal

  1. 1

    Cut the top of a tender coconut. Collect the water. Scoop the malai. Make a smooth paste of malai with coconut water.

    Marinate prawns with salt and turmeric powder. Heat oil in a pan. Light fry the prawns.

    Same pan fry chopped onions till they are translucent. Add ginger- garlic paste. Fry till the raw smell gone. Add chopped green chilli. Add salt, sugar turmeric powder. Fry a little while.switch off the flame. Add mustard paste and cream. Mix well.

    Marinate the fried prawns with the paste. Leave for 5 minutes.

    Fill the marinated prawn inside the empty tender coconut shell. Cover and seal it with atta dough. Cook in microwave high for 8-10 minutes.

    Let it cool. Enjoy it with steam rice
