Ingredients

15 minutes
2 servings
  • 2chicken breasts, chopped
  • 1red bell pepper
  • 1brown onion
  • 3 clovesgarlic, sliced
  • 1chilli deseeded, diced
  • 1 tspChinese five spice
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbspsoy sauce
  • 1 tbspoyster sauce
  • 2egg noodle nests
  • Oil for frying

Steps

    Cook the noodles according to package

  2. 2

    Heat some oil in a pad on a medium high heat, when hot add the chicken and fry until just cooked, about 5 minutes. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Add some more oil to the pan if necessary. Add the chilli, garlic and fry until fragrant, about a minute. Add the five spice, salt and pepper, fry for another 30 seconds.

  4. 4

    Add the onion, fry for until the colour stats to change, about 3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add the bell pepper, fry for about 3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Add the chicken back to the pan.

  7. 7

    Add the noodles to the pan and stir to combine. It helps to have cut the noodles up after they were cooked.

  8. 8

    Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce and stir to combine. Fry until the noodles start to crisp slightly, about 2 minutes.
