Crispy Fried Bananas

A not-so-important recipe 😆 but one of my favorite snacks. Unfortunately, it has to be fried 😢. It's super easy to make... anyone can do it! Perfect for morning or afternoon tea.

A not-so-important recipe 😆 but one of my favorite snacks. Unfortunately, it has to be fried 😢. It's super easy to make... anyone can do it! Perfect for morning or afternoon tea.
Steps
- 1
Slice the bananas thinly (I cut them in half lengthwise). You can also fan them out if you like.
- 2
Make the wet batter: add water little by little until the batter is quite thick and not too runny (just estimate).
- 3
In another bowl, prepare the breadcrumbs. I use the orange-colored ones for a prettier result.
- 4
Take a banana slice, dip it into the wet batter, and lift it out.
- 5
Roll it in the breadcrumbs. Press gently to make sure they stick. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- 6
Heat oil over medium heat, fry until golden brown. Ta-da! A simple and delicious snack is ready to enjoy! 😁 It's also yummy with chocolate sauce.
