In a bowl, add flour, grated peppers, chopped onion, curry powder and seasonings. Add little water, mix and stir well until a little bit thick. Set aside.

Peel the yam, cut into desirable shape and sizes, wash and cook with a pinch of salt.

Or you can cut the yam and dip into the batter without cooking it, it gives the same result in the end.

Drain and allow it to cool completely.

Heat up oil in a pan, deep each yam inside the batter, coat well and fry until golden brown.

Serve with tea, dry pepper or sauce.
