In a bowl soak the Toor dal for 10 mins. In a pressure cooker add the Dal and turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and on low flame for 1 whistle cook the dal 50%. Set aside

Make a dough of wheat flour by adding little salt and water. Dough shouldn’t be tight or soft. Roll it and make small circular sizes with a cookie cutter. Fold on four sides and set aside

Add these Dhoklis to the Dal and cook for 5 mins until the Dhokli are cooked

Make a tadka in a pan adding ghee and cumin seeds, whole red chillies, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, coriander seeds and asafoetida and stir for 1 min. Add to the Dhokli.
