Ingredients

8 servings
  • 2 cupswhole sprouted oats
  • 1 cupunsalted nut butter (I use 50/50 almond/peanut butter ;-)
  • 1/3 cupvirgin coconut oil
  • 1/3 cupraw honey (maple syrup substitute~vegan option)
  • 1 cupunsweetened coconut shredded or flakes or desiccated
  • 1/4 cupchopped nuts (I use walnuts and cashews)
  • 1/4 cupdried fruit (I use cranberries, cherries or apricots)
  • 1 teaspoonVanilla extract
  • 3/4 cupdark or semi sweet chocolate chips (carob chips work well too as vegan option ;-)

Steps

  1. 1

    In sauce pan on low heat add all ingredients EXCEPT CHOCOLATE.

  2. 2

    Turn of heat and add chocolate...

  3. 3

    Put mixture into 9x9 pan, either lined with parchment paper or foil.

  4. 4

    Put Mix in place

  5. 5

    Refrigerate 4 hours or more.

  6. 6

    Keep refrigerated in sealed container until ready to serve.

  7. 7

    I actually individually wrap in parchment paper so hubby can take to work or to skatepark 🏂
