Tomatoes are good source of vitamin C.This rasam uses tomato along with garlic,pepper and jeera.It can be had a soup by itself or can be had with bowl of rice.Can be prepared in less time under 30 mins.

Tomatoes are good source of vitamin C.This rasam uses tomato along with garlic,pepper and jeera.It can be had a soup by itself or can be had with bowl of rice.Can be prepared in less time under 30 mins.

Take tomatoes in the vessel with water. Boil till it softens and skin becomes soft. Cool the tomatoes and remove the skin and add to the mixture jar.

To the tomatoes, add garlic, pepper, jeera with little water to form a fine mixture. Now add the mixture in a bowl, add water to dilute, then mix tamarind extract, rasam powder, and salt.

In a pan, add mustard seeds, red chilies, curry leaves, and asafoetida and the prepared tomato mixture. Boil till there is frothing on the top.
