Healthy Dalia khichdi

Clean and wash dalia thoroughly in enough water. Drain and keep aside.

Heat oil in the cooker and add cumin seeds, green cardamom, black cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, and cinnamon stick to it. Cook for a minute.

Now, add asafoetida, onion, ginger, and garlic to it. Mix well and cook till golden brown.

Then, add tomatoes to it. Mix well and cook for few minutes.

Then, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and salt to it. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.

Now, add dalia and all the veggies (potato, carrot, capsicum, green peas, cauliflower, french beans, and coriander leaves) to it. Add 1-1/2 cups of water to it. Mix well and pressure cook on high flame for 1 whistle and low flame for 2 whistles.

Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. Serve hot.
