Cooking Instructions
- 1
Beat the eggs, milk, and vanilla just until combined. Do not overbeat.
- 2
Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
- 3
Add the butter and half of the liquid mixture. Mix gently until combined.
- 4
Use a hand mixer on high speed for 1 minute.
- 5
Add the remaining liquid mixture and blend for another 30 seconds. Repeat until all liquid is used. Do not overmix, or the cake will become tough.
- 6
Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes, or until a fork inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and let cool completely.
- 7
It's very important to wrap the cake in plastic wrap and let it sit overnight. It will taste much better than eating it right away.
