Ingredients

10-12 servings
  • 2 lbsGround Beef
  • 2 lbsGround Sausage
  • 1Big Sweet Onion chopped
  • 1Red Bell Pepper
  • 1Green Bell Pepper
  • 8 ouncesdiced green chile peppers
  • 1/3 CupChili Powder
  • 1 teaspoonPaparika
  • 1 teaspoonground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoonminced Garlic
  • 28 ouncesdiced tomatoes w/juice
  • 28 ouncesTomato Sauce
  • 15 ouncescan Chili beans w/liquid
  • 15 ouncescan Kidney beans w/liquid
  • 1/2 cupBrown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoonsSalt
  • 1 teaspoonsPepper
  • 1 stickButter
  • 1/2 teaspoonCinnamon

Steps

3 - 4hrs
  1. 1

    Brown Beef & Sausage in big sauce pan. Then drain.

  2. 2

    Add chopped onion, Bell peppers and chiles. Simmer 15 minutes stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

    Add ingredients from sauce pan to a big pot, plus rest of ingredients stirring occasionally. Bring to boil for about 5min.

  4. 4

    Add the stick of butter, and a dash of cinnamon! lower temp to low for about 3 hrs stirring every 15-30min.
