Ingredients

  1. 2medium-sized onion chopped
  2. 2 tomato pureed
  3. 1green chilli slit lengthwise
  4. 2 tbspsginger-garlic paste
  5. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  6. 1 tbspKashmiri chilli powder
  7. 1 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1 tspgaram masala
  9. 1 tspcumin powder
  10. 3 tbspsoil
  11. 1/2 cupwater
  12. 200 gpaneer
  13. 1 tbspButter
  14. as neededKasuri methi crushed

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate the paneer with chilli powder,turmeric powder and salt. Shallow fry the paneer.

    In a kadai, add oil which was used for frying the panner, add chopped onions, saute well till it becomes transparent.Then add green chilli, ginger-garlic paste and saute well till the raw smell goes off. Add the pureed tomatoes and saute well till the oil separates out. Add the mentioned spices and saute well. Add 1/2 cup water and cook the masala well. Add 1 tbsp curd to it and saute well till the oil separates out.

    Add the shallow fried paneer pieces into the masala and mix well. Add butter and crushed methi leaves to it. Serve the paneer masala!!!
