Yam Tuk (Sindhi Special SuranTuk)

Yam or Suran Tuk is very popular among Sindhis and can be served as starter or we serve along with curry Chawal or Dal chawal. We can also make Aloo tuk too in similar manner. It is very easy to prepare with very less ingredients and it tastes awesome. Crispy and yummy. Try this super awesome receipe of Sindhis.

Cooking Instructions

Cut yam or Suran into medium-sized or 2" cubes as shown in pic.

Put slight slit on them so that they cook well from inside too.

Keep oil for frying and when it is hot add yam/Suran. Fry on high flame for 2 mins and then lower the flame and cover it.

Keep stirring it in between. Check with knife. If it is done remove them on tissue paper.

On tissue paper press them gently and fry it again. Till then mix all dry masalas in one bowl.

Fry it till it is golden brown and crispy.

Sprinkle this masalas on them and serve hot and crispy Tuks.
