Caramel Flavored Fold-in Sheet (For Bread)

This is a fold-in baking sheet I made for myself, since I love caramel flavor. Since my recipe for chocolate marbled bread sticks received 10 "I made this" reports, I remember that I'd gotten a request (some time ago) for the caramel sheet recipes, so here it is.
I use a 700w microwave oven. Please adjust the cooking time depending on your microwave. Be careful not to burn yourself when adding the boiling water to the caramel sauce (since it splatters). The bitterness of the caramel depends on how long you cook it, so please adjust to taste. I like to caramelize it quite deeply. If you would like a milky caramel flavor, try using cream instead of milk. Recipe by Yukiline

Steps
- 1
Make the caramel sauce with the A) ingredients. Start by putting the sugar and water in a heatproof container. (It's best to use a large container for this. Also, the caramel gets very hot, so be sure to use a container that can stand up to that heat.)
- 2
Keep microwaving until the sugar melts and turns brown, about 4 and a half minutes at 700W. Take it out of the microwave, add the boiling water and mix to make the caramel sauce. The total weight of the caramel sauce is about 90 g.
- 3
When it has cooled down a bit, add the milk and mix well. Be sure to do this after the caramel sauce has cooled down a little.
- 4
Put the bread flour and cornstarch in another heatproof container, and mix well. (Or sift them together.) Add the sauce from step 3 to that little by little while mixing.
- 5
Mix so that no lumps form. It looks like this when it's done. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. (Uncovered.)
- 6
Take it out, mix well again, add the egg white and mix once more. Microwave for another minute.
- 7
Take it out, and mix again. Add the butter and mix until melted to finish.
- 8
It will be like this.
- 9
Form the sheet into a 15x18cm rectangle, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze.
- 10
I received a that a heatproof container cracked when used in a 1000W microwave. So if you have a microwave that is higher in power than 1000W, I recommend making the caramel sauce on the stovetop in a pan instead.
- 11
I received a from someone who used a Pyrex glas bowl that it cracked. Please avoid using glass for this recipe.
