I referred to a recipe in a book by former singer and actress Satoko Koga, and changed it so it was simpler and more to my taste.

Transfer it to serving moulds while it's still warm. It will naturally transform into a 2 layer pudding. If you like, serve with heavy cream. It's tasty that way.
The pudding is also nice topped with a little kinako roasted soy flour. Recipe by aco731

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 380 mlMilk
  2. 2 1/2 tbspSugar
  3. 1heaping tablespoon Black sesame paste
  4. 5 grams●Gelatin
  5. 1 tbsp●Water

Cooking Instructions

    Preparation: Sprinkle gelatin into the water marked ● and soak.

    Put sugar and sesame paste into a saucepan, add milk a bit at a time, mix well, then strain.

  3. 3

    Turn on the heat and heat the mixture until it is just about to boil while mixing with a spatula. Add gelatin mixture from step 1.

    When the gelatin has dissolved, transfer the mixture to moulds while it's still warm. When it has cooled down, let it chill in the fridge for 3 hours and serve!
