Temari Sushi Balls with Shrimp

I made this because it is so easy to eat and cute. It's handy to serve for guests or at a small party. I also packed these in my daughter's lunch box!
Adjust the amount of sushi rice on the size of the shrimp. Bite-sized portions of rice is best as it's easier to eat and look cute too. Recipe by Tomoko kitchen

I often make simple nigiri sushi. This time I had some leftover salmon, so I made some with it.Use a small portion of sushi rice, so that they're easier to eat.You can use other types of fish for the topping instead, but I think that salmon looks the nicest.Don't forget to make a little hollow and fill it with a dab of wasabi, this will make the sushi look even more attractive. I changed the temari sushi ingredients to those I love and simplified the cooking method. I will give it a try next time. Recipe by yakopuyo cookpad.japan -

It's delicious made with lotus root and carrot too. See.Here I've used some kinpira that I usually have stocked. If you don't want oil in your sushi, simmer the vegetables rather than stir frying.Step 1: Use a bit less than 2 tablespoons of sushi vinegar to every 1 rice cooker cup worth of rice.Step 4: You can freeze any leftover shredded omelette.Step 6: The number of servings will depend on the size of the containers you use.Note: If you allot 1/2 rice cooker cup worth of rice per serving, you'll need 2 rice cooker cups worth of rice in total for 4 servings.Step 6: If you are making this for a bento, use plastic containers to mold into shape. Temari Sushi-Style Rolled Sushi Temari Sushi-Style Rolled Sushi
I was thinking about making temari sushi, but to wrap up each of them one at a time is a bit of a pain. I wanted to be able to make all the base parts at once, so I thought up this recipe. If the roll sushi you make for the base is too fat, then when it's time to eat, it will break apart and become difficult to eat. So, if you use only 3/4 of the nori sheet, you will have a thinner of a roll. This will make it cute and easy to eat! Recipe by megmicky cookpad.japan -

I wanted to make sushi with Western ingredients, and then I came up with this interesting idea to make Western-flavored sushi rice!I've also made some Western-style sauce in addition to the standard wasabi soy sauce. It's so cute and palatable since it's slightly smaller than bite-size.You could also make variations with grilled chicken and coarse salt, or even with seafood such as squid and octopus. The sushi rice is only mildly acidic. Please add more vinegar if you'd like a stronger taste. Recipe by Mayugari-ta cookpad.japan -
