Mohanthal is a very famous and traditional sweet dish of Gujarat. It's awesome test makes it whole over India famous dish. Its test is totally different from normal Besan ki burfi.

Mohanthal is a very famous and traditional sweet dish of Gujarat. It's awesome test makes it whole over India famous dish. Its test is totally different from normal Besan ki burfi.
Steps

First of all take a bowl put besan in it add 50 gram ghee and milk mix it well. It looks like a dough. cover it and rest it for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes we crush the dough with help of spatula or a spoon. Now put it in a mixer grinder and churn it. It becomes like choorma.

Now take a pan and put it on gas. Add half portion of remaining ghee in it (200 gr approx). When ghee get little hot add besan choorma. Now stir continuously on medium to low flame. After 10 mins it's color getting change. Now add remaining ghee(150 gr approx). Stir it continuously. After more 10 mins our besan is ready. It's colour become change into pinkish red colour and we feell a nice aroma from it. Now switch off the flame.

Now take a pan, place it on gas. Add sugar and water (in same quantity)in it for making sugar syrup. We have to made one string consistency sugar syrup. Now add elaichi powder mix it well. Our sugar syrup is ready. Add pinch of yellow food colour.

Now add besan in it. Stir it continuously on full flame. After 5 mins ghee separates it pan. It means our mohanthal is ready. Now switch off the flame.

Now grease a tray with ghee. Now put mohanthal in this tray and press it gently. Garnish with chopped almond. After half hour cut it into square shapes with help of knife. Set it for 2 to 3 hours or until it's become completely cool. Now flip it on another plate and store it in a airtight container.

Our super tasty, super soft mohanthal is ready. Friends it's taste is totally different from normal besan burfi. Try at once. Thank you.
