Heat oil in a skillet. Add asafoetida, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and bay leaf. Sauté for 1 minute.

Add the prepared paste and all the spices. Cook until the oil separates at the edges, then add the heavy cream.

Cut the paneer into pieces as desired.

Add the paneer and boiled green peas. Cook until the oil separates at the edges.
