Ingredients

Serves 3 servings
  • 1large onion
  • 3 clovesgarlic
  • Nutmeg
  • Potatoes
  • 8.8 ozmushrooms (250 g)
  • 8.8 ozMorbier cheese (250 g)
  • 10.5 ozbacon pieces (300 g)
  • 2 tablespoonssour cream or plain yogurt (or fromage blanc)
  • Thyme
  • Salt and pepper

  1. 1

    First, boil the potatoes in water for about 20-25 minutes until tender. Peel and cut them into slices or large chunks.

  2. 2

    Cook the bacon pieces in a pan and set aside.

  3. 3

    In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil.

  4. 4

    Add the mushrooms and cook until tender, then add the potatoes, grate in some nutmeg, add thyme, and stir in the cream or yogurt.

  5. 5

    Season to taste with salt and pepper, and mix well.

  6. 6

    Transfer everything to an oven-safe dish and top with Morbier cheese or another cheese like Reblochon.

  7. 7

    Bake for about 20 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
