I had ripened bananas lying around.

You can use 2 bananas if you like the rich taste.
When dissolving the gelatin, it is easier to mix if you microwave with a bit of the mashed banana.
The mousse will change color with time, so consume as quickly as possible (preferably by the next day). Recipe by nyonta

Ingredients

7 servings
  1. 200 gramsStrained yogurt
  2. 80 gramsSugar
  3. 100 gramsHeavy cream
  4. 1Banana (fully ripen)
  5. 4 gramsGelatin
  6. 1 tbspwater

Cooking Instructions

    Strain the yogurt. Do so until 400 g becomes about 200 g. I referred to.

    Whip the heavy cream until it becomes as thick as shown in the photo, and chill in the fridge.

    Combine the bananas and sugar into a bowl, and mash. Rehydrate the gelatin in water.

    Microwave the gelatin for about 15 seconds to dissolve, combine it with the banana, and stir.

    Add strained yogurt and whisk well with an egg beater.

    Finally, add whipped heavy cream, lightly whip with an egg beater, and stir with a rubber spatula.

    Pour into containers, and chill in the fridge until has solidified.

    Done I garnished with banana slices coated in lemon juice.
