Eggless honey cake

Take yogurt and sugar in a mixing bowl and add oil and vanilla essence to it.

Mix everything well with whisk.

Sieve flour,baking powder and baking soda and mix lightly till incorporated.

Add milk to make a batter.

Pour the batter to a lined cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 35-40 minutes or until done.

For the honey syrup boil 2 tbsp sugar in 1/4 cup water till it is sticky.

Switch off the gas and add honey while it’s still warm.

Make some pokes in the cake and pour the sugar syrup on it.

For the jam mixture add 1/2 cup jam and 1 tbsp honey in a pan and mix on low flame till the jam melts.

Spread the jam mix on the cake and add dessicated coconut on it, as required. Cut into pieces and serve.
