I love Kua'aina's avocado sandwich so much so I decided to make my own version.
After looking up the recipe I found that the real thing uses less seasoning than I do.
I like stronger flavors so I added mayo to the ketchup and that's what makes it so delicious.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1Avocado
  2. 4 sliceSliced bread
  3. 1 canCanned tuna
  4. 1Tomato ketchup
  5. 1Mayonnaise
  6. 1Black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the fillings. Cut the avocado in half and scoop out the flesh with a spoon before mashing. Drain the oil from the tuna can.

    Toast the bread until golden or browned (however you like it.) If you don't have much time you can toast just the one side.

  3. 3

    Once toasted, put half the avocado and half the tuna on one sandwich, then add some ketchup, mayo and black pepper in that order. Finally, sandwich with another slice of toasted bread.

    Cut the sandwich in half with a knife and it's ready to eat!!
