  • For filling
  • 1 tbspMustard oil
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspGinger paste
  • 1/2 tspGreen chilli paste
  • 2Boiled potato mashed
  • 1 tspGaram masala powder
  • 1 tspRoasted cumin and coriander powder
  • as per tasteRed chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • as requriedSalt
  • piecesSmall coconut
  • as requiredChoopped coriander leaves
  • Forcoating
  • As neededCorn flour slurry
  • as per needBiscuit crumbs
  • As requiredVegetable oil to fry

Steps

    In mustard oil add red chili flakes, ginger-green chili paste, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, roasted cumin-coriander powder, salt, and mashed boiled potatoes. Cook and combine all then add coconut pieces and chopped coriander leaves. When all mixed very well switch off the flame and cool the filling a little bit. Then make tikki like shapes from filling.

    Now coat it in dust flour and then add in the corn flour slurry.

    Then cover with biscuit crumbs (if you want you can double coat these)

    Then fry in medium heat until browned.

    Now it's done. Just take out and serve hot.
