Rub the inside of the fondue pot with the garlic cloves.

Pour 1 cup of dry white wine into the fondue pot and heat until it comes to a boil.

Cut the cheeses into small cubes.

Add a few pieces of cheese to the boiling wine and stir constantly with a wooden spoon over low heat.

Gradually add the rest of the cheese, stirring constantly. Add a little more white wine if needed.

Once the cheese is smooth and creamy, keep it warm over low heat and dip pieces of bread, cured meats, or other accompaniments.
