Ingredients: 1 cup coriander, chopped; 8-10 mint leaves; 1 cup spring onions, chopped; 4 green chilies, whole; 4 garlic cloves, julienned; 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, julienned; 1/2 teaspoon chili powder; Salt, to taste

I use this masala to make my speedy biriyani . You can make a big batch and keep in the sterilising jar in the fridge. Great to add in your Indian style curries, dips, side dishes, in sandwiches

Ingredients

1 cupcoriander, chopped
8-10mint leaves
1 cupspring onions, chopped
4green chilies, whole
4garlic cloves, julienned
1 teaspoonfresh ginger, julienned
1/2 teaspoonchili powder
Salt, to taste

Steps

Chop all of the ingredients into small enough pieces to fit in your processor or blender and grind to a smooth paste. Add only as much water as needed to facilitate grinding.

Add a tablespoon to soups or stews or use as marinade for meat. Can even be used as a condiment.
