Ingredients

30-35 minutes
4 servings
  • 100 grampaneer
  • 1 cupgrated lauki/ bottle gourd
  • 2medium size onion
  • 4tomato (medium)
  • 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  • 4-5cashews
  • 4-5walnuts
  • 1 tspHaldi ( turmeric)powder
  • 1 tspDhania ( coriander)powder
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspJeera( cumin) powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededOil for deep frying
  • 2 tablespoonsoil
  • 2 TeaSpoonCream or malai
  • 2 Bread slices
  • 1 tspAmchur ( dry mango)powder
  • 2Green chillies

Steps

30-35 minutes
  1. 1

    For kofta
    Mix lauki and grated paneer add salt and amchur powder.
    Add green chilli and coriander leaves

  2. 2

    Add soaked bread and make small balls. Deep fry snd keep aside

  3. 3

    For gravy
    Cut onions and tomatoes.
    Take a pan add 1 cup water add onions, tomatoes, cashews,walnut and green chilli. Boil it for 10 minutes

  4. 4

    Keep aside. When it cools then churn it and strainit.
    Take a heavy bottom kadai. Add oil and then add ginger garlic paste fry for 1 minutes then add onion tomato paste and cook for 6-7 minutes

  5. 5

    Add all the spices and cover it. Cook until masala releases its oil. Add water and cover it and put the flame on medium.

  6. 6

    When gravy becomes little thick put the gas flame off. Place the koftas in serving plate pour the hot gravy and garnish with fresh cream and coriander leaves.
