  • 1 tablespoongarlic (15 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoononion (2.5 grams)
  • 3/4 teaspoonsalt (3.5 grams)
  • 2 ozsmall cooked shrimp (60 grams)
  • 1 tablespoononion, diced (16 grams)
  • 1 tablespoontomato, diced (17 grams)
  • 1 teaspoonavocado, diced (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspooncilantro, chopped (3 grams)
  • 2 tablespoonsabalone cooking broth (30 ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoonMaggi seasoning sauce (2.5 ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoonWorcestershire sauce (2.5 ml)
  • 1/4 cupketchup (67.5 ml)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoonsgrapefruit soda (such as Squirt) (22.5 ml)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonshabanero hot sauce (7.5 ml)

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the abalone with the garlic, salt, and onion for 45 minutes. Reserve the cooking broth and chop the abalone.

    Dice the onion, tomato, and avocado; finely chop the cilantro.

    In a bowl, mix the abalone broth, Maggi seasoning, habanero hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and grapefruit soda.

    Add the shrimp, abalone, onion, tomato, and cilantro to the bowl and mix well.
