4 Seasons Smoothie (Papaya Pineapple Mango Banana)

This is one of my favorite blends. Thai fruits are easy to find, fresh, and packed with nutrients, which is a great advantage of living in Thailand. They're better than imported frozen fruits that have been irradiated and have a high carbon footprint, with uncertain nutritional value. It's better to support local farmers. When blending, you can use any kind of fruit. I love buying ugly fruit/food. The more blemished they are, the happier I am to support them because it shows the growers care about consumers and the environment by not using chemicals, which takes a lot of effort. Just a thought to share with care.

Ingredients

5 minutes
2 servings
  1. 150 gramsripe papaya
  2. 30 gramspineapple
  3. 30 gramsmango
  4. 30 gramsbanana
  5. 1/2lime
  6. 1 teaspoonhoney
  7. 1-2 tablespoonsfresh coconut milk (optional, you can skip if unavailable or disliked)
  8. Black salt (optional, you can skip if unavailable or disliked) a pinch

Cooking Instructions

5 minutes
  1. 1

Put all the fruits and coconut milk in a blender. Add a little water to help blend (today's picture doesn't include coconut milk, but if added, it enhances the flavor of all the fruits).

  2. 2

Taste and adjust with fresh lime, honey, and black salt.

  3. 3

Adjust the amount of each fruit to your liking. At home, we love ripe papaya for its digestive benefits, so we add a lot. Our little secret is to always add black salt to any recipe with ripe papaya. It complements and enhances the flavor well and is also medicinal.
