Add the ghee and powdered sugar to the kunafa, then bake in the oven or cook on the stovetop, stirring constantly, until golden.

Whip the cream with the ice-cold water, then chill in the refrigerator.

Once the kunafa has cooled, layer it in a serving dish or cups: start with a layer of kunafa, then a layer of whipped cream, then a layer of caramel sauce. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.

You don't need to add syrup to the kunafa since it already contains powdered sugar and all the ingredients are sweetened.
