I thought of something I could make using the all-purpose nameko mushrooms.
It's also good cold when chilled in the fridge.

Dress the onion with wakame seaweed and nameko mushrooms just after cooking the onion.

Ingredients

5 servings
  1. 1 largeOnion
  2. 1 1/2 tbspDried wakame seaweed
  3. 3heaped tablespoons Nameko mushrooms

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the onion and slice into thin wedges. Soak the wakame in water to reconstitute.

  2. 2

    Put the onion on a small plate and add about 1 teaspoon of cooking sake. Wrap and cook in a stove (600 W) for 4 minutes.

    This is the cooked onion, wakame and nameko mushrooms.

  4. 4

    Mix all 3 ingredients in a bowl, then plate and it's ready to eat.

    You can also top with roasted sesame seeds.
