Baked Rice Flour Doughnuts

I'm into desserts made with rice flour and I wanted to make chewy baked doughnuts.

You just mix and bake these, so there aren't really any hints. These doughnuts are not very sweet, so you may want to increase the amount of honey (or sugar). You could drizzle honey or sprinkle sugar to finish. Recipe by Orenjiringu

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 100 gramsRice flour
  2. 1 tspBaking powder
  3. 1Egg
  4. 2 tbspHoney (or sugar)
  5. 70 mlMilk
  6. 20 gramsButter
  7. 1Powdered sugar (to finish)

Cooking Instructions

    Put the eggs into a bowl and beat. Add the honey and milk and mix with a whisk.

    Add the rice flour and baking powder to the mixture from Step 1 and mix again.

  3. 3

    Add the melted butter to the mixture from Step 2 and mix.

  4. 4

    Pour the doughnut batter from Step 3 into a pan greased with butter or oil.

  5. 5

    Bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180ºC.

    After they cool off, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
