Ingredients

20 minutes
3 servings
  • 1/2 cupurad dal (chilka)
  • 1/2 cupurad dal
  • 1/2 cupyellow moong dal
  • 1/2 cupgreen moong dal
  • 1/2 cupchana dal
  • 3-4green chillies
  • 1 inchginger
  • As per tasteSalt
  • 1 tspGaram masala
  • As required Oil for cooking
  • as requiredTomato sauce
  • As RequiredGrated Cheese(optional)

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash all the Dals thoroughly. Soak them for about 2 hours seperately.

  2. 2

    After 2 hours, grind the Dals along with ginger and green chillies. Add little water to grind it into a coarse mixture.

  3. 3

    Add salt and garam masala. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Spread a laddleful of batter on the tawa. Cook the chilla from both the sides. If required spread oil.

    Serve hot with grated cheese or tomato sauce.
