Ingredients

40-50 mins
2 servings
  1. 1 cupRefined Flour
  2. 1 tbspGhee/Butter
  3. 1/2 cupSemolina
  4. 2-3Green Cardamom/1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  5. 3 tbspSugar Dust
  6. 1/2 cupWalnuts
  7. 6-7Cashew nuts
  8. 1 tbspGrated Coconut
  9. 6-8Raisins
  10. 2 tbspGrated Paneer
  11. As neededLuko warm water
  12. 1 tbspMilk
  13. 1 cupSugar and 1/2 cup water for making Sugar syrup
  14. 1 tbspButter / ghee for brush the Gujiya for baking

Steps

40-50 mins
  1. 1

    In a bowl,mix refined flour and ghee together well.Rub it and make a dough with as needed Luko warm water.

    Cover the dough with wet towel.Keep aside.

  3. 3

    Make the stuffing,so take a pan and roast dry fruits- walnuts and Cashew with little butter.Remove it and grind it like dust.

    Now use remaining ghee and add 1 cup Semolina and roast it.Add sugar, coconut and dry fruits dust.And also Cardamom powder and raisins.

    Add grated paneer lastly and remove it in a plate.

  6. 6

    Divide the dough into small balls and roll it.Put the stuffing with a spoon and give shape like Gujiya.

    Brush both side with ghee or butter.Bake it in convection mode for 10-12 mins in 180°. (You can also fry in a kardhai)

  8. 8

    Make sugar syrup with 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water.Put the Gujiya into it.Keep it for 5 mins and serve it.
